Another Retro Jordan for the 09

So far in the 09, there have been some crazy drops...the highly anticipated Air Yeezys by far the best so far, Retro Air Griffeys, Nike Half Cent, Nike Foamposite Pro Pearls (i was alil upset about those), Barkleys, Jordan Nubuck 12s, etc..
We've already heard surface that the AIR JORDAN SPACE JAM XIs are to come out in the 09 holiday season which is going to be OD Crazy!... There are more Packs to come, more NIkes, blah ze blah...Now another Retro Jordan is scheduled to drop this year:






Air Jordan Retro True Blue IIIs, there is still no release date yet.

Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Attrached to Gods at 9:30 Club

For most people that know me well, know that I'm a big Rhymesayers fan, in particular Atmosphere, So of course I had to make it out to the 9:30 club and pay Slug,Ant and Brother Ali a visit. While looking for directions online to the 9:30 club I found out by suprised that the show was sold out, but I went with my instinct and went up there anyway and with my luck ran into one of the rhymesayers promoters who not only hooked us up with tickets but free passes to the after show also, and while waiting in line I had the honor of meeting Ant from Atmosphere who came outside for some fresh air and a cigarette break. Great Show.

Best Rolled L's

So as the school year is coming to a end, things are getting out of control and people are losing there fk*ING minds, as an example making trophies for Best Rolled L's there wasn't a clear winner but i guess this man decided to take the honor.






Its getting to the point were nothing in class is keeping my interest, ( the little interest that I have) so I'm left with no choice but to...

NIke Foamposite Pearls

NIke has decided to pump out another shoe this month. This time the NIke Foamposite Pearl Pro scheduled to release in select footlockers and sneaker shops May 23rd...they will in the May line up along with:

Air Griffeys (Blue) (available online)
AIr Jordan Raging Bull Pack
Air Jordan Nubuck XIIs
NIke Air Max 95 "Sabretooth"

Personally, I like the foamposite pros better, i think they look way better with the check but opinions vary. The colorway of these are decent, nothing crazy like eggplants or anything but I still might put these on my "to get" list..we will see

Hybrids

Ok, one of the newest trends in the shoe game, hybrids. You've got Nikes such as 1/2 cents (amazing)





, Nike Air Tech Challenge Agassi Hybrid, Air Force Jordans, Jordans, ect, but Jordan has possibly taken it too far with the latest jordan hybrid. Jordan did good with the 6 rings for the most part, and some argue their taste in the Air Force Jordans in which i personally hate, but this new one, the Air Jordan 60+ might have been a good idea when it was thought up, but personally, i dont even know what to think when i see these.





When I first saw them (grape edition), I was kind of interested to see detailed shots, most likely wasn't going to buy. I saw Oak Hill High school had exclusive pairs, and to be honest, they looked like an old school/ retro nike/jordan, which made me a little more interested, but still, most likely, wouldn't purchase. Now I see the "Laney" editions and from these pics via Nicekicks, i was really turned off. Reading comments about the shoe made me laugh because there's no doubt these could be compared to LA Gears. It'll be interesting to see what other hybrids Nike, Jordan, and other companys come up with in the future. It could either be a slight sucess, or they might just have to come to it and say enough is enough.

Mission Yeezy May Edition Picture Recap

Mission Air Yeezy Timeline:

1. Friday May 1st, the 4 of us, hop in the benz and head out 1 hour away to fredrick, maryland..
2. End result of the car ride, was we witnessed, we were a day too late...people have been camping since thursday...EPIC FAIL
3. We go down to Commonwealth on Flordia Ave, and talk to some friends about the raffle.
4. Then we plan and round up as many people as possible to come down to DTLR with us on saturday morning for their raffle drawing, hoping to have increased our chances. 
5. Yet again: NO DICE, NO YEEZYs, WE DIDNT PASS GO, Just straight back to noVA

This has been Organized Blah  Report on Air Yeezy: Until Next Time....we keep our fingers crossed

Being all around the DMV, we did witness alot of things...Some kidds in Fredrick going to Pitcrew, a local skate shop, one kid wearing a gorilla mask....

A crazy woman dying to get a pair of Yeezys, had no idea what she was talking about half the time but was willing to pay top notch for a size 11. at the end of the day: she still didn't get a pair haha....A homeless man in southeast who out of nowhere comes up to the raffle and hobbles out of his wheel chair and starts dancing instantly drawing a scene haha...and at the end of the day, all we were able to come back with was a Original Fake Kaws T shirt from Commonwealth, a few stickers, and  1 lost Air Griffrey found on the side of 66, overall, a not so sucessful day

Inspiration

Right now, so many things are moving so fast... High schools almost done with, got proms, graduations coming up, ect. With so much stuff going on, I've noticed that I've started to lose sight and have neglected my love to MAKE music. I feel like with doing so much running around, working, doing school work, doing everyday life stuff, i've got distracted from taking time out to sit down, and work on perfecting a beat. Now that I've recognized this neglect, its come time for me to sit down, play with the keys, load up some drum samples, look through the records again, and get back in the groove. Listening to new music, new sounds, and watching videos, i've found some inspiration to get back at it. I wish I had the luxury of going into a studio everyday and working with people who are inspirational everyday to accomplish a project, but I don't. I am though, blessed with the tools I have, and sooner then later, I need to try to perfect everything I have til, those things have been exhausted. I got to buckle down and get the music bumping again. Damn: I need to push past this beat block......
