Space Jam Jordans

Now everyone and their great uncles knew about the Nike Air Jordan Space Jam Retro XIs coming back out. Everywhere you'd go, the most random people would be talking about the Space Jam XIs: those who love sneaks, those who collect sneaks, oldheads, the new heads, smooth dudes to wack dudes...you name it, they claimed "i'm getting the space jams"

So the date flucuated several times and last minute was set to Dec. 23rd.
Tuesday Dec. 22nd, 2009 comes around and look what happens

CLICK HERE TO WATCH CBS 13 Sacramento News Coverage Of The Space Jam Release...ITS A MUST SEE

Thousands of people went out and tried their luck at getting pair. The BlahZe crew was prepared. Dec. 22nd came and Jay Curry & Bingo were out at Tysons early morning, camp chairs on deck. From the early AM to mid-afternoon they held down the fort while I (swat) was at work. More people filed in and mall security started to take notice. Thanks to the crew at footlocker, the managers passed out tickets and wrote down your reserved size. After the tickets were in hand, it was a wrap, our pairs were stamped. It was then only a matter of waiting to pay and watch everyone else fight over the limited number remaining...

This is the scene witnessed from above:

There was easily a hundred people just dying to get their hands on a pair. Footlocker didn't want to officially form a line until 11pm. Fairfax county police were all around, forcing people to "keep it moving." As soon as 11pm hit, all you saw was a huge push of people towards the gate of footlocker to form that line. Cops were being pushed, words were exchanges, people were kicked out, some even arrested. At the end of day though, BlahzeBlah got their pairs and some.

Now all I have to ask is....

Who REALLY got their pair of Space Jams after all was said and done?

When and WHY...

Dear Moleskine (Alternate Video) from 2dopeboyz.com on Vimeo.

Everytime I look around the web on other blogs and site and see Jay Electronica's name come up, I get a excited to hear. So I Run across Dear Moleskin, a song that has such a tough beat, just tough song, but WHEN the hell is the full studio recorded version of this song going to come out! This time when I saw it, it was an alternative to the video trailer that was first put out and WHY is it taking so long,

According to 2dopeboyz and Decon Media:

"Shot throughout Asia, this feature length film will follow jay electronica across the globe and back home again. Interviews with Buddhist Monks and Drug-Addled Sadhus, combined with rap video set ups will leave fans breathless and smash the conception of what it means to create value added content in the music world. Original score by Just Blaze, Jay Elect., and others"

there's alot of good music out there thats just being held onto, and if you ask me, people need to hear it and if this Dear Moleskin is really a trailer for a movie there coming out with, I can't wait to see this.

WTF: Diddy & Supreme

In the streetwear and fashion industry there have been brands out there that have been out for YEARS now and have consistantly been among the most well known and I guess you could say respected in the Industry. Supreme NYC is one of the very well known streetwear/skateboard gear/ just simply a clothing company that hold its honor. Not only respected by consumers high demand and recogniziton, there have been many brands out there that imulate the Supreme brand, especially playing off of its famous simple box logos.

I was on highsnobiety, and came across a video (which has been "removed by user") of P. Diddy doing a supreme photoshoot!

GOOOOO AHEAD WITH ALL THAT!

I'm sorry but I'm sure many out there will agree that Diddy is probably one of the corniest people out. Yes, hes very successful and good at what he does but, this is one place I personally think he doesn't belong. It'd be cool if Supreme put out a picture tee of him back in like the 90s with a Supreme shirt or something but whenever I see him, I just think Macys and Sean John, sorry but that's bummy. I really hope he doesn't try to switch his look or any of his artist's look up to make them seem "applying to the streetwear culture".

We'll see what Supreme has in the making with Diddy but I only see bad coming out of that deal. But to me this relationship is like Oil and Water, the two don't mix...

¡Blah!: Where's Wayne?...

It's been a while since done a BLAH or shared my thoughts on some bizarre stuff that I've come across while surfing the net. 2dopeboyz posted a new Young Money song titled "Where's Wayne?"

The title alone made me question, what could this song possibly be about. It starts off with a remake version of the Showboys classic song Drag Rap. Right off the bat...CORNY

Then not only that, the song title is really what the song is about. It's kind of like a where in the world is carmen sandiego theme execept where in the world in weezy? I didn't listen to the whole thing but if you listen to enough, you may think like i did and say....I know there a tight group or whatever and they all respect wayne but this song they kind of put him on a pedistool and in a way sound like there on his dick a little too much. Maybe it was like a thank you type deal/ suprise look what we made for you type song or Maybe the people at Young Money/Cash Money told them we're going to do this track, but as a artist on Young Money, I don't know I woulda been 100 percent on board for this song.

Blah ze Blah X Curren$y: Higher Learning ~ Merry Kushmas

This past weekend, for those who follow and keep up you know that wiz khalifa and Curren$y stopped by in Richmond for a performance. Bingo Jay Curry Dub and Trav all came down for the weekend and we did our thing. Saturday at 5pm Henry's was having there meet and greet with Curren$y and Wiz. We roll through, wait around, and the odor of strong weed fills the air, Curren$y was in the building. Right off, cool as shit. Live dapping people up, and then he stops.

Now all who know us know we love shoes and Curren$y loves sneaks, so real recognize real and he makes a PSA for everyone in the store that Jay Curry is doing the damn thing with the NIKE AIR JORDAN '99 IVs. Every knows Curren$y loves to smoke, and of course everyone keeps presenting him blunts...Another PSA:

The surgent General say you can get cancer in the lungs and mouth. You gotta invest in some papers, because the general doesn't say nothing about them... Just a healthy smokers tip...

Trav, came through and had the zags on him and rolls up. One thing leads to another, and we're all in the back of Henrys...From there we made the new 09 holiday, Merry Kushmas and for anyone interested in learning how to bake Kushberry Muffins, here's to you:

Henrys was cool...later, we headed to the club, like every other club venue i've been to, people have been on there bs....the opening acts came out late, they were horrible, the club venue sucked, speakers sucked, mic bummy, crowd restless, but when Curren$y and Wiz finally came out, it got better. Overall I was dissappointed because the show was nothing like the videos I'd seen of there other live performances but mainly I was mad at the club and how bad it was. Fun day to say the least...A lot of stories and cool moments from that day and here are some more pics to sum it all up!

Mixtapes 4 Download

1.

Jay Electronica is back, FINALLY with another mixtape! Jay Electronica is in my opinion one of the better rappers out right now. He's not one who makes a lot of noise on blogs or floods the internet with new music but he constantly teases fans with putting out snippets and trailors such as Dear Mr. Moleskin, which he needs to release and stop playing! I'm glad he gave us something to enjoy before the 09 is over.

Enjoy and Download here!

2.

Lupe is also back in the studio and he released his brief but tough mixtape, Enemy of the State. Gave something for Hip Hop fans to be thankful for on Turkey Day.

Curren$y & Wiz Khalifa

Lately I've been watching online videos, and the other day, I was BSing walking through Best Buy and came across a HD camera. Watching Vimeo videos and this Currency video, I really wish I could carry a camera around all the time for some reason. Very random but It's blah ze blah..This is a blog right? Anyway, this weekend is about to live, Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y are running through my new town Richmond Va and are about to be at Henry on Broad. St at 5pm. Then heading to the club for there preformance, can't wait.
