Extra Butter
A couple weekends ago I got to visit the concrete jungle, its been along time but it felt good to be home and hit up some old spots. Seems like ways are changing up in the big apple from clothing to music. DC has Go-Go, Chicago has Juke, New york has... Jazz-hop, a mix of Jazz and Hip hop bringing back that old school soul feel with samples and clips of J Dilla and other God like producers, and replaying hits from groups such as De la Soul, Jeru the Damaja. Live Jazz acts with the rugget lyrics spit by MC's make a great atmosphere. It's just the beginning of this genre but I see it going far in the future with acts such as, rivive da live, and the foundation. Who ever came up with this concept is genius and for those who don't know who the brains behind this is it should be easy to find out just take a wild guess......
