RIP: Jim Johnson

Anyone who knows me knows I'm a Philadelphia Eagles fan for life. Unfortunately, we've taking a big lose recently. Long time defensive coordinater and assisant coach Jim Johnson has passed away at age 68. Things definitely are not going to be the same in the Eagles camp in the years...
Whoever is going to follow in Jim Johnson's footsteps better 100x sock it to fill his shoes.

Lately, due to a series of horrible stupid and unfortunate events, i've found myself inside my home alot more this past week. Not everything is bad though when I'm at home. When I stay home for majority of my days, I tend to get a lot more done. I'm much more productive & productivity is key.....

Any who,

So every day I've been waking up, playing on my MPC1000, my friend Joe's Fantom X6, and tryna make music. Nothing crazy but fun and keeps me busy for hours. Then i'll usually go to the gym hangout and then come back by midnight (not by choice). While hanging out, talks of having a party come up here and there who knows one of these summer days hopefully it will happen, but talking about partying and djing always tends to come up. Now me, I'm a music man. My itunes consists of 10000 songs of many genres. Among those 10000 songs, contains alot of party songs dance music whatever you want to call it. I thought to my self all i need is a software that I can pretty much DJ all these songs so when I do have a party or go to a party and dj, i can turn it out. Well, my late night boredom kicked in the other night and I started to research some softwares. I found the perfect one for me! Virtual Dj!



I've been on this thing for probably 10 hours combined mixing, fading, chopping, etc. All I gotta say is, just wait 'til I get the hang of this thang....I may have found me a new hustle

Up and comer on Kanye's Good Music label has paired up with video legend Hype Williams and put out his first video for the song " Getcha Some"...The song personally is just "Eh, okay" nothing crazy but I do love artist, cartoony videos. I think Hype did a great job on the production and it definitely fits Big Sean's image.

I don't have the time like I use to, to pick up some of my favorite magazines like Sole Collector, Antenna, Thrasher but i was at a friends house and picked up an old Thrasher magazine and couldnt even recongize Antwuan Dixion. I guess he took it to heart when Wiz said "ink my whole body i don't give a mother fuck" Strapped with 60 tattos and counting, As much as people are going crazy about his change up, he still has my favorite cut on Baker 3.

Besides Eric Koston finally joining the Nike SB camp, it seems nothing has been cooking up there since Nothing But the Truth. I guess I was wrong when I came across this Paul Rodriguez promo with Ice Cube. Seems like something big is on the way or just a really dope commercial. only time will tell.

Winter Dreams

The other day I was at the gym with my friend Alan and we were talking about shoes and boots for the winter for when we go to school. He'll be going to Canada for school so he was looking for some nice boots to get before he leaves so he asked me for any suggestions. I told him if he could find some Raulph Lauren Polo Ranger Boots on ebay from '92 to get those. Well it turns out Nike isnt the only company that retros or re releases shoes because he just happen to look that up and found out that day that Polo was planning to re release them this year. They came out the day after on July 17th on Davidz.com and Journeys.com! I'm looking for these to come in the mail!

This song is basically about finding yourself becoming too good of "friends" or "bbf's" with a girl. Not a place anyone wants to be in. Throughout the years I can definitely say I've found myself in that zone and its not always where you want to be..I don't know if I like the song that that much but the concept and video i dig.

2009 ?

Out of the 4 years I've attended Rock the bells concerts this one was by far the worst. Besides the events that took place eariler in the day.... half of the acts didnt show up and people who waited for 8 hours + to see Nas left in the middle of his set, he didnt seem that excited to see anyone anyway.. and kept bringing up the fact that Damian Marley wasnt there to preform his set with him. I guess you could say Busta held it down for everyone that was slacking and lacking that night.

A Drivers Worst Nightmare Above and Beyond

Speeding, anyone who drives a car does it every time they touch the wheel. Now there are clearing different types of speeding and speeders, but speeding is just a natural thing for all drivers. When I opened the Internet Explorer, i read something terrible:

Basically in a handful of states in the US, Cops us an aircraft to moniter speeding on the highways. Crazy sneaky. Apparently in some states, there are special lines painted on the road, the aircraft can get you a ticket for speeding, and you won't even know it til later. Crazy! I hope I never find myself in state with some sneaky police system..NOT COOL
