Some of the albums of this fall have been very disappointing, or maybe all the anticipation was built for nothing.
As far as Albums from 1-4 id have to go with...
1.
I wasnt a big fan of Kid Cudi from the break but after giving his LP a listen, this is deff my first choice for number 1 album for this Fall. Great production, tough beats and a mellow vibe is what this album provides. Give it a listen if you havent already
2.
For all my Wu-Gambinos or just hip hop heads, finally Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 has dropped after 6 years of rumors and pushed back dates it has been released. Of course OB4CL2 doesnt compare to the first one but has a couple of good tracks on there that bring back that raewkon the chef 95' feeling.
3.
I was very dissapointed in Wale's Attention Deficit, the production and tracks are just all very similar and sound alike. the best tracks on this album have been out for almost a year now Chillin, Pretty Girls. 90210 is a good track, to sum it all up if you have heard those 3 tracks you dont need to listen to Attention Deficit.
4.
Jay-Z has made some of hip hops most classic albums from Reasonable Doubt to The Blueprint, but maybe the Mike Jordan of rap needs to take advice from MJ himself and retire for good this time. One of the worst albums Jigga man has ever put out and the worst album of the fall if you ask me. only track worthy of listening to is Venus vs Mars. but thats about it.
The mixtape game has had its up and downs but after Wiz Khalifa's Burning After Rolling, and Lil Waynes No Ceilings, the mixtape game might be back on its shoulders. I dont think I have it in me to listen to another Gucci Mixtape, and with Waka Flocka Flames making his grand apperence on the music scene things arent looking that good...
1.
As a personal opinion Wiz Khalifas Burning after Rolling is better then Weezy's No Ceilings for the fact that there are a varity of different tracks on this mixtape that touch different subjects and things of life such as songs like "When U find out" that you and I can relate to, or just something to bop your head to like "Young Khalifa"
2.
So I guess wayne is back on his mixtape game and wanted to throw one more mixtape out before he drops his rock debut LP The Rebirth. Im not the biggest wayne fan but this mixtape deff deserves some respect just because the beats wayne spits on, sound better then the original. "Throw it in the bag" for example is a better make over then its original ( sorry fab)
Future Albums
Slug & Murs are back at it again for all my Rhymesayer fans. I've yet to hear a bad Felt Album lets hope it stays like that.
Not to forget Mos Def X Jay Electronica X Curren$y's = Center Edge Territory album
